FAQs
Do you take insurance?
I am not currently in network with any insurance providers. I will however, provide you with a superbill that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement. Out of network benefits and reimbursement rates vary, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to obtain more information about coverage rates.
What are your fees?
$200 for 45 minute session
$250 for initial 60 minute intake.
What will happen in the first session?
During our first session we will review your current concerns, discuss your personal and family history and discuss treatment options and initial goals. Therapy is a unique experience for each individual, and its important that you feel safe and comfortable with your therapist. These first few sessions are also an opportunity for us to be sure that I am the right therapist to meet your current needs.
How long will therapy take?
I am aware that therapy is a significant investment of time and expense, and how long this lasts depends on your individual needs and preferences. Some clients want to focus on a specific issue that can be processed more quickly, others prefer a long term therapy relationship. Together we will evaluate what makes the most sense for you or your child given your specific circumstances and preferences.
How frequently will we have sessions?
Typically sessions occur weekly, but frequency can be adjusted based on your progress and needs.
Will therapy be virtual or in person?
I offer both virtual and in person options, and we can determine what will work best for you based on availability.
I am interested in the possibility of working together - What's the first step?
I like to begin with a free 15 minute phone or video consultation so that we can talk more about your current concerns, what you are looking for in a therapist, and determine availability for scheduling an initial session. Link here to schedule a consult.
